About Bonnie & Diana
Bonnie met legendary athlete Diana Nyad during her racquetball career and the two of them became inseparable friends and training partners. After receiving her BS undergraduate degree in Physical Education from the University of Connecticut, Bonnie taught high school Physical Education in Connecticut for three years.
Career Nyad has written four books:  Other Shores (Random House: September 1978) about her life and distance swimming, Basic Training for Women (Harmony Books: 1981), Boss of Me: The Keyshawn Johnson Story (1999) about an NFL wide receiver, and Find a Way (Knopf Publishing Group: 2015).
